Our Story
Savannah Outsourced Finance was born from the experiences of one of our founders Duncan Sim during his tenure in a lead finance role for a UK-headquarted IT Consultancy. The business chose to operate a model of internally moving much of its finance operations to its newly acquired South African entity, replacing the more expensive UK operating model. He felt strongly this is a model that could be pitched to the UK market in general.
South Africa had specifically been chosen due to the skilled talent pool available, limited time zone difference and English is widely spoken.
